Reunion Event

2010 will mark 3 years since the start of BoB. The time for a reunion event is now upon us.

Classic Map Night - Reunion Day 1
Server map cycle will be set to all the old favorites, to be agreed upon beforehand. Map list will most likely include both official maps and orange maps.
Friday January 22, 2010 starting at 8:00 PM eastern

Competitor's Night - Reunion Day 2
Call out your old nemesis to a 1v1 or 2v2 challenge on whichever map you like. Players will take turns in groups as queued competitors wait in spectator mode, cheering/insulting the active players.
Saturday January 23, 2010 starting at 8:00 PM eastern

Random Map Night - Reunion Day 3
New map every 20 minutes, most that were not regularly played in the past.
Sunday January 24, 2010 starting at 8:00 PM eastern

Please provide feedback on the events, it's not yet set in stone. Let me know if it appears favorable.

One of the secondary objectives of this event is to attract new regulars to the server. The server will therefore be open to the public on all 3 nights with the possible exception of competitor's night. Please acquire a microphone if you don't already own one, as we will primarily be using the in-game voice for all-talk.

I have a serious issue with this set of nights... Unfortunately these three nights are all days that I will be at my moms house with out a computer... I cant go on Monday night or every other weekend and these days fall right on that other weekend so I cant make any of them... damn.


EDIT: It would be REALLY, REALLY cool if we could take this exact dates/times and just push them back a week

I have a large project for work due the week end of this event, so I'd also be in favor of pushing it back to the 15th. Any objections?

Well, I couldn't go on tonight because I ended up getting another dog. Was busy until about 10 and then I was on the phone until now... Sorry guys.. tomorrow I'm planning on having a friend over but for maybe 2 hours ill come on anyway . Sunday as of now i have no plans but i got band practice on monday (no school that day ) so if that happens early in the morning, I'll be leaving by 12. Just letting ya know

Alright guys, you're not going to believe this, but I fucked up. I've been so busy with work I got my schedule mixed up and thought the reunion event was next week. Since I didn't do any "advertising" yet on the steam group or via email, I don't think a lot of people actually showed up anyway. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

That being said, I'd like to reschedule it for next week so I can do this right.
